What is Mythic Showdown?
The flagship licensed community tournament of India's Moba Legends 5v5 ecosystem — and the primary qualification pathway into the professional ML Masters Series.
India's flagship 5v5 community stage
Mythic Showdown is the flagship licensed community tournament of Moba Legends: 5v5! — the India-published edition of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, powered by Vizta Games (the official Indian publisher). Season 2 of Mythic Showdown was organized by War Drum Esports, who is now organizing the ongoing Season 3 tournament as well.
Held twice a year — in January and June — it is the highest tier of India's community competitive ecosystem, bringing together elite organizations, established rosters, and rising underdogs under one unified platform, culminating in a LAN Finals.

There are four main qualification pathways into the 16-team Swiss Stage:
- Mythic Leaderboard (8 slots): Direct invite for the Top 8 teams.
- Elite Leaderboard (3 slots): Direct invite for the top teams. (Originally Top 4; Megatron Esports forfeited, increasing the Wild Card qualification pool by 1).
- National College Cup (1 slot): Invited NCC Champion team.
- Wild Card Stage (4 slots): The Top 4 teams qualify. (Wild Card is contested by the Open Qualifier Top 4 + the remaining 4 Elite Leaderboard teams, making 8 teams total).

Mythic teams are restricted from farming community tournaments to keep the lower-tier competitive space open for rising teams. They compete primarily in higher-tier events and the Mythic Showdown itself.
The Top 2 teams earn direct slots in the next ML Masters Series (MLMS) season — India's professional MOBA league. The MLMS champion then qualifies for the global Mid-Season Cup (MSC).
